Actions against police commonly include the following:

Assault – this can include verbal assault including threats and intimidation.
Battery – this includes being unreasonably handled physically by police.
Unlawful Arrest - this can lead to false imprisonment usually arising out of

an
unlawful arrest or stop and search.
Trespass to goods - which is an unlawful interference with your personal

property
such as a mobile phone, computer, motor vehicle.
Trespass to land - which is an unlawful interference with your land. For

example,
police entering your land and searching your home when not authorised to do so.
Malicious prosecution - basically criminal charges (prosecution) brought

against
you without any just or reasonable cause.
Unlawful or illegal detention - arrested or imprisoned without charge or

trial for an
indefinite amount of time.
Unreasonable use of force and excessive force - this can include physically
threatening or intimidating behaviour by police.
Strip Searches – Strip searches can be anything from police making
you take some or all of your clothes to police looking inside your
bra or pants (see below for more information).

Other Unfair Treatment by Police - examples:
Questioning. Being stopped and questioned by police without lawful
justification;

Strip Searches - Complaints against police:
You were asked to take off some or all of your clothing
You were asked to show or move your bra or underpants
